Summer Island Village Maldives A relaxing resort, ideal for those seeking a simple beach holiday. Laze on the beach, try some watersports the lagoon is excellent for learning to windsurf or catamaran sailing and in the evenings, linger in the starlit, thatched bar. A 1 hour 45 minute fast boat ride from Malé airport, the hotel occupies a small island in North Malé Atoll complete with powdery white sand beaches, blue seas and water bungalows. Diving is a popular pastime here and guests can even watch regular visitors such as rays and tropical fish from the jetty.
